Ward was the first child born to MonroeLouisianaon 15 April, 1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. For secondary educationWard went to Ouachita Parish High School. She later relocated to River Oaks High School on the following summer, after her senior year. There she was a member of the dance and drill team. A short time after her graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward dropped out at thirteen and relocated into New York so that she could begin modeling. In the years following she decided to take up acting. In the 1970s, Ward was a part-time actress with no credit in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role as NBC's prime time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Then, in the fall of 1996, she was in the role as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. In 1999 she started a film career, starring on The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. In theaters the film was unsuccessful, however it enjoyed some success in cable and on DVD. Following the film, Ward starred in a supporting part in the cult film Shallow Hal. She has also acted in a variety of direct-to-DVD films and has made guest appearances in various TV shows including Friends. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother to a young girl in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In terms of her private life, she's got a marriage to David C. Robinson. With him they had Cameron.
